What is Go?

Go, also called Golang, is a compiled programming language created at Google. It has a small syntax, built-in concurrency through goroutines, and produces a single binary that’s easy to deploy.

It suits API servers, command-line tools and infrastructure software, where fast startup and modest memory use matter. Its deliberately small feature set means less to learn, and sometimes more code to write.
